Stop abandoning your dream, revive it. If you dream to become a musician pursue it. Never let it die, its always in your heart, it's always in your mind, revive it, start again, train again, play music again. The results doesn't matter what matters is you are doing it. When you are creating music then you already won, as simple as that. You don't need to become popular, you don't need to earn money. Live by your standards and that is creating something every single day. Never care about the rules of other people, you are already a musician every time you create your own music, you're already winning. Remove money from the equation and you're already free. Stop letting them put labels on you, stop letting them define who you are. You can create your own definition of success, never let other people tell you who you are. If you really feel that you are something then you don't need to look for validation or permission anymore. Your works is your permission, your vision is your validation and nothing else. You're already a musician whenever you are creating music, you're already a writer whenever you are writing something. There are no rules that you have to earn money to become something, if you're already making an art then you're dream was realized already, it's happening, there is nothing to worry about. If you want to become an athlete then compete, you don't need to win, you don't need to prove yourself. If you want to become a fighter then just fight, look for a promotion and start signing up your name for a fight, make it simple, make it basic, if you really love what you are doing and you are doing it everyday then you already won. Dreams die because people are letting other people define and make rules for them. Forget the rules and all the dreams will be revived. Start dreaming again and start becoming that dream. Nobody can stop you, you are the creator of your own world.
